It was apparent to me months ago that Tea Party bullies were championing John “Dudlow” Ludlow for Clackamas County Commission Chair. I’ve seen them at Board of County Commission meetings and have been appalled!  Dudlow supporters are a Tea Party gang of thugs with no answers; they are ONLY interested in throwing monkey wrenches designed to thwart progress and connectivity for Clackamas County. The disgusting piles of Tea Party out-of-state money fueling Dudlow’s campaign and the lack of respected endorsements should be a huge red flag to voters.

I recently heard the pathetic story about Dudlow’s brief term as Wilsonville Mayor; he was elected to a 4 year term but left in anger only two years in. But yesterday, when the  link http://johnludlowisabully.com/was forwarded to me by a Clackamas County insider, the whole UGLY BULLY DUDLOW story fell into place. Think it over and then decide if YOU want to risk the future of Clackamas County to BULLY BOY TEA PARTY DUDLOW.

And, keep in mind, Tea Party Tootie “I don’t have much brainpower” Smith is trying to ride the coattails of the same out-of-state money, trying to hitch her hillbilly wagon to Dudlow in hopes of helping him ruin Clackamas County’s future.

Tootie’s term at the legislature was not without notice; her influence peddling came to the attention of Willamette Week when it named her “Rogue of the Week” for pimping her personal profit products to her legislative cohorts in Salem, noting her  “self-serving hypocrisy and exquisitely poor timing” (are you starting to get the picture that Tea Party Tootie is desperate for MONEY and needs a real job?):

In any case, Tea Party Tootie currently isn’t a “successful business woman” as she claims. Her phony B&B has been for sale in Molalla for years and brainless Tootie desperately advertises to host “Vegas Style Weddings” in Decayville Molalla.

If Tea Party Tootie had a handle on business, why didn’t she step in and save her hometown Molalla from its slide into its current abject insolvency and ghetto-hood? If brainless Tootie is a savvy businesswoman why is there NO LISTING for her FOR SALE Prairie House Inn in the local phone book (nothing under Prairie House Inn in the White Pages, nothing under B&B, Hotels or Motels in the Molalla phone book!).  It looks like Tootie “I need a job” Smith is in financial hot water with her old hulking “business” in Decayville if you read between the lines from her for sale website:

“Manager home available at $250,000 with separate lot and deed. All furnishings included, turnkey. $750,000. Possible owner financing with assumption of first mortgage of $307,000 and a down payment. Other broker financing available. Call Tootie for details, cell 503-949-5667.”

Call  brainless Tootie and ask to see the accounting for her “business” so we can all know how UNSUCCESSFUL her B&B is! That above ad SCREAMS UNDERWATER to me. There is no way any hulk of anything in Molalla could be worth $750,000 plus $250,000 for managers home. Unsuccessful Tootie is looking desperate to bail from her home town Molalla ghetto.

Tea Party Tootie Smith would NEVER have enough brains to run a huge County. It’s a NO BRAINER to REJECT her as a County Commissioner. Tell her McDonalds MAY have a slot for her since her Decayville Molalla B&B is a bust!

Come to Decayville Molalla – TEA PARTY TOOTIE-VILLE – and see the looming hulks of empty storefronts and the crumbling streets! Look at the horrible lack of planning. Visit the contaminated brownfields that have oozed dioxin for decades into Bear Creek!  Ask the struggling to survive merchants in Blightsville Molalla why Tea Party Tootie didn’t save them if she is such a great business woman?

Ironically I found it on her campaign facebook page where a supporter asked if it was a JOKE to make nutcase Tootie look bad or was it for real! It was for real and the gun went to a guy who had in the past been dragged out of a County meeting by the Sheriff!

Tea Party Tootie has gotten most of her campaign money from the Transformation Project PAC. Their $71,000+ to Tootie is “in kind”, meaning they control how the money is used (could it be they don’t trust her to use it correctly?). Tea Party Tootie tried to raise campaign money via an idiotic handgun auction and ended up giving a glock handgun to a guy who had been dragged out of the County building for disrupting a Board of County Commission meeting. Again: VISIT MOLALLA and ask why it looks like it looks and why Tea Party Tootie didn’t save her hometown from ruin if she is such a financial genius. And then ask yourself if you would risk Clackamas County’s future to a liar from Molalla like UNSUCCESSFUL Tootie “I auction handguns to crazy guys” Smith?

Keep Clackamas County free of BULLIES like John “Dudlow” Ludlow and Tootie “I don’t have a brain in my head” Smith. We can’t risk our future to Tea Party HOTHEAD BULLIES!

Rude, Bullying and a Hypocrite: He Doesn’t Care What You Think, He Just Wants to Push Urban Renewal and Raise Your Taxes.

A History of Bullying

John Ludlow started as Mayor of Wilsonville in 1989. By the summer of 1990 the recall committee formed. They called him “rude, discourteous, biased, belligerent and bellicose to citizens.” By February of 1991 he was done. That’s right. Two years into his term John quit. People were relieved. They were happy they wouldn’t have to listen to him “berate” the other councilors anymore. (Wilsonville Spokesman Feb. 6, 1991).

Do you think he mellowed with age? We have our doubts. In 2002 John was removed from the Wilsonville Planning Commission for “misconduct.” His reaction was to sue the city. (Oregonian, Dec. 31, 2002). That seems rude to us.

During the SoloPower discussion in Wilsonville just last year, Ludlow once again broke out his attorney, threatening to sue the West Linn-Wilsonville School District because some school district employees were upset at his actions against bring the company to Wilsonville.

Approving a City Sponsored Psychic to Help Wilsonville See Into the Future

Maybe you don’t care that John can be rude. Maybe you want someone who watches your money and can predict where the economy is headed. John may have an idea for how to do that. We just aren’t sure you’ll like it. In 1990 he approved a “city sponsored psychic” (Wilsonville Spokesman April 25, 1990). We wonder if she told him how that would look in 2012?

Ludlow needed that psychic when in 1988 he told the Oregonian that he could “never see Wilsonville as a bedroom community to Portland.”

Or last year when the SoloPower deal was being discussed and he was trying to refer the council decision to the voters, when he said of his actions, “You just wait, they are coming here, no matter what.” SoloPower is now developing in Portland.

Pushing Urban Renewal and Raising Taxes

John Ludlow says he is opposed to Urban Renewal. We say actions speak louder than words. As mayor John voted to approve an Urban Renewal District, EVEN AFTER VOTERS HAD REFERRED IT TO THE BALLOT. (Wilsonville Spokesman, Nov. 7, 1990) Did he care what the voter’s thought? Before the vote he told the Wilsonville Spokesman “It’s going to happen.”

Steamrolling voters is bad, but we think raising taxes is worse. As mayor John tried to raise taxes twice. TWICE IN TWO YEARS. First he wanted to increase the tax base by 47-cents per $1,000 of assessed value. When that didn’t happen he tried to increase the tax base by 46-cents per $1,000. (Oregonian and Wilsonville Spokesman 1990) Will you give us a penny for our thoughts John? We think our taxes are already high enough.

Ludlow not a listener 
At a recent candidates forum in Sandy, Clackamas County Commission Chair candidate John Ludlow spent almost half of his presentation time complaining about “John Ludlow is a Bully” signs. Very few of us have even seen these signs, but after listening to Ludlow, he convinced a fair number of people that he is, indeed, a bully.
This reminds me of an extremely large postcard that Ludlow sent to all voters before the May primary: It shows a photo of a man with a bullhorn hiding his face (one can assume the man is John Ludlow). The text said “John Ludlow hears you.”
Everyone knows that a bullhorn is a really great instrument for listening. And if done properly, holding it up to his mouth, Ludlow doesn’t even have to see who is trying to talk to him! I’m sure that I wouldn’t have to waste my time and energy telling him what I think, but I’ll certainly be able to hear what he thinks loud and clear. He has his own special version of “I can hear you.”
Charlotte Lehan is definitely able to listen and respond to the needs of Clackamas County residents. She has my vote. 
